About Me

Hi! I’m Britt, and I live in a cozy apartment in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. I’m an illustrator and lifelong reader with a big love for literary fiction, science fiction, and non-fiction, especially memoirs and science books! When I’m not reading or drawing, you’ll probably find me traveling, enjoying good food, or happily romanticising everyday life.

I studied Media & Communication at university, but for the past few years I’ve been working full-time on Basically Britt, and I’m honestly having the best time doing it.

I love sharing my passions for illustrating and reading on my YouTube channel and Instagram account Basically Britt. On this website you can find all the bookish and stationery products that I designed for you all with lots of love.
