About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Britt, I’m 28 and I live in a cozy apartment in Rotterdam in The Netherlands. I absolutely love reading and illustrating and my favourite books to read are literary fiction, science fiction and non-fiction (memoirs & science). Traveling, eating good food and romanticising life are also things that make me incredibly happy!

I’ve studied media & communication at university but I’ve been working on Basically Britt full-time for a few years now and I’m having the best time ever!

I love sharing my passions for illustrating and reading on my YouTube channel and Instagram account Basically Britt. On this website you can find all the bookish and stationery products that I designed for you all with lots of love.
