One of the hardest things to do when you are trying to make some changes in your life, is really sticking to them, being consistent and making them your new normal. At least that’s the case for me. I’ve learned that I need something/someone, other than myself or my husband, to be accountable to. So, I’m making you my accountability buddy! Aren’t you excited!?
I’ve been doing really good with keeping my eating healthy and clean for the most part since completing the Whole30 challenge in January. There’s still room for improvement though and I’m learning little by little what my body can handle and what it can’t.
But what I’m really struggling with is exercising and getting in good workouts. I have a hard time making it a priority when I feel like I have a million other things going on. I’ve realized lately though that I’m always going to feel like my to do list is never ending. It’s time to commit. It’s time to make myself a priority. It’s time to get motivated. It’s time to change. But I can’t do it all on my own.
After all, that is one of the main reasons I started this blog. To find ways to become healthier and happier and to share that with you. So this will be the first little journey that we take together.
Each week on Wednesday I will post about the past week. I’ll just share kind of how it went. What my favorite workouts were. Which workouts I did not like. Any healthy recipes that were good/successful. And I’ll try to be as open and transparent as possible. I’ll tell you how much weight I lost and where I’m at physically, emotionally and mentally.
If I know that I have to come back here and report about all this every week, you better believe I’ll be working for it!
Hopefully it won’t bore you and maybe you can find the motivation you need to make some changes as well! If you need an accountability buddy in return let me know! I’ll be there for you too!
And if you have any tips or ideas or things you’d like to see me try along the way, please leave a comment and let me know!
Let’s put on those tennis shoes and get to work!
